As the year came to a close, our Convergence Cares initiative once again brought our teams together around a shared goal of supporting local organizations and giving back to the communities where we live and work. Across our offices, team members contributed time, resources, and donations to causes that support families, children, and individuals in need. This year’s efforts reflect the same commitment and care that define who we are as a company.
Ottawa
Our Ottawa team focused on multiple initiatives to support the community. They organized a fundraising initiative for Cornerstone Women’s Shelter, through the Cornerstone Holiday Gift Program. The donations collected in the program were later matched by Convergence Networks. This included filling boxes with items such as pajamas, gift cards, toys, and personal care products for those in need.
In addition, the team took part in CAPCORP’s Fill the Pantry campaign for the Ottawa Food Bank. CAPCORP provided a donation box, which was overflowing by the time it was delivered, reflecting the generosity and engagement of the team.
Portland
In Portland, our team continued their support of Serendipity Center, a community based K–12 therapeutic school for underserved students living with behavioural disabilities and mental health challenges. The team is proud to continue contributing to an organization that makes a real difference in the lives of students and their families.
Lansing
In Lansing, the team chose to support a local pre-school near our office that has been teaching at risk children for decades. The team provided shirts, pants, socks, and underwear to multiple pre-school students who are in need of clothing and also donated additional clothes directly to the school. This effort focused on meeting immediate needs and supporting children in a way that helps them feel comfortable and cared for at school.
Seattle
In Seattle, our team collected donations for the Ballard Food Bank, supporting a local organization that helps ensure families and individuals in the community have access to food when they need it most. The team’s efforts contributed to strengthening local support networks during a time of year when demand is especially high.
Looking Ahead
We are proud of our teams across all offices for their generosity and commitment to making a difference. Convergence Cares continues to represent what matters to us most, supporting our communities and showing up for the people around us. As we look ahead to the new year, we remain committed to continuing this work and finding meaningful ways to give back.
