The amount of time it takes to become CMMC compliant varies greatly. It depends on the level of certification you need, the number of requirements you already have in place and scheduling audits (if required). After we complete our initial assessments, we can help determine a potential timeline for certification.

As with most compliance regulations, there are penalties for not achieving certification, such as fines or reputational damage. However, not meeting CMMC certification can also result in loss of all DoD contracts and prosecution under the False Claims Act.
