The holidays are a time of joy and giving, and this year, through our Convergence Cares initiative, our offices came together to support charities in their communities. Here’s a look at some of the ways we gave back:
Ottawa CHEO Holiday Giving – The Convergence Team in Ottawa surpassed their goal and raised over $1000 for CHEO. They were also able to donate several items from the CHEO Wish List. CHEO is the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and provides exceptional care for children, youth, and their families as they navigate illnesses, developmental issues, and other health challenges. Each year, they have 6700+ admissions, complete 7700 surgeries, and have over 75,000 visits to their emergency department. Over 500,000 patients are served each year. Lansing Adopt-a-Family – The Convergence team in Lansing came together to get gifts for a refugee family from Afghanistan. It was a great opportunity to help a family in need and spread some holiday cheer.
Portland Christmas Family Adoption Program – The Convergence team in Portland collaborated to raise funds and buy gifts for a family in need, as part of the local Christmas Family Adoption Program. This initiative was aimed at spreading joy and cheer during the holiday season, while also giving back to the community. You can learn more about Christmas Family Adoption Program here.
