Convergence Crusaders at the Ottawa Food Bank Food Sort Challenge

At Convergence Networks, we strongly believe in the importance of giving back to our community. This year, we were absolutely thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to participate in the Ottawa Food Bank Food Sort Challenge as part of our Convergence Cares initiative.

The Ottawa Food Bank plays a truly vital role in the city of Ottawa, tirelessly providing fresh and non-perishable food, as well as essential supplies like diapers, toiletries, and cleaning products to over 100 essential food programs across the city.

The Food Sort Challenge is an incredibly exciting and competitive event, where teams of up to 10 people come together to race against the clock, working to sort a staggering 1000 lbs of food in the shortest possible time. After a long-awaited four-year hiatus, we were absolutely thrilled to see the event finally return and to be able to actively take part!

Our team, the Convergence Crusaders, overcame multiple obstacles and challenges to successfully sort 1000 lbs of food. We are also proud to announce that we met our donation goal of $5,000!

We would like to send a big thank you to everyone involved in making the Food Sort Challenge a huge success!
